The explorer
section is the newest section in scouting, starting from the age of 14
and finishing at the age of 18. Being a part of an explorer unit is a
great chance to try awesum new activities ranging from backpacking in
the caingorms, to sailing tall ships.
What...
These are just a taste of some of the activities on offer
over the past year: hiking in the caingorms, white water rafting, climbing,
scuba diving, rock concerts, mountain biking, various camps, night hikes,
bivies, pot holing, sailing trips and training cources.
Where...
Explorer units are
very flexible and you can meet where ever suits you best, at your mates,
the scout hall and in the... pub.
When...
You can meet when ever
suits you best, at present the explorer unit meets on the same night as
the scouts, this should change.
